Our Story
We thank you for trusting in RCS.
Real Community Services (RCS) was born from a heartfelt vision to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. It's journey began almost two decades ago to when Trevor Green - Founder and Company Director - passionate about equality, independence, and inclusion - saw a gap in the support services available to people living with disabilities. They recognised the need for more personalized, participant-centered care that truly embraced the unique potential of every individual.
With this in mind, RCS was founded as more than just a service provider. It became a movement driven by the belief that every person deserves to live a life of dignity, freedom, and opportunity. From its earliest days, RCS championed a co-design approach, collaborating closely with participants and their families to tailor services that met their specific needs and aspirations.
Starting with a small team and a handful of participants, the organization quickly gained a reputation for its unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Each step forward was fueled by stories of lives transformed—participants gaining independence, finding meaningful employment, forming lasting connections, and achieving milestones once thought out of reach.
Over the years, RCS expanded its offerings, becoming a leader in Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and holistic direct support services. The introduction of allied health services and support worker training further cemented its reputation as a provider that goes above and beyond.
Today, Real Community Services stands as a testament to the power of vision, resilience, and collaboration. Built on a foundation of trust and compassion, RCS continues to shape brighter futures, one participant at a time—proving that when support is real, lives are transformed.
